The METISS team, governed by the METISS association (Moto Experimental Team Innovation Sport System), manufacturer of MetisS® brand racing motorcycle prototypes, is putting up for sale one of the last MetisS prototypes with a Suzuki carrier engine in its history. The exceptional machine offered to you is the MetisS MS-JBB22 – JBBMSL08006 – Suzuki GSX-R1000R engine n°DTA1-10322 - Unique machine having participated in the 2023 24H Motos race (46th edition) and in the qualifications of the Bol d'Or Motos event (86th edition), FIM Motorcycle Endurance World Championship event.
JBB design prototypes like the MetisS are very rarely found on sale. The MetisS team is putting a MetisS on sale for the third time. The last time a JBB concept machine (T.S.S.) was put on sale was in 2019 for a MetisS MS15.
Today you can acquire a unique machine, the very latest evolution of the MetisS prototypes and its TSS-2 concept, that is to say a machine that is priceless. In the world of collector's motorcycles, this prototype can be considered as an investment, or for the passionate rider, an extraordinary machine to experience the sensations on the circuit that you cannot find on a motorcycle with a conventional front axle.
This fabulous machine is one of the models used for the FIM Motorcycle Endurance World Championship season by Team METISS, in perfect working order, ready to rack up the laps.
The prototype put up for sale is the MetisS MS-JBB22 – JBBMSL08006 with the Suzuki GSX-R1000R engine n°DTA1-10322. Unique machine having participated in the 2023 24H Motos race (46th edition) and in qualifying for the Bol d'Or Motos event (86th edition), event of the FIM Motorcycle Endurance World Championship, entered in the EXPERIMENTAL category under the colors of Team METISS #45, of which the French brand MetisS® dominates the category. This prototype was entered in the 2023 24H Motos race in the hands of the riders Hikari OKUBO (JAP – Tech3 rider in the FIM Enel MotoE World Championship) – Gabriel PONS (FR) – Camille HEDELIN (FR) – Julien BONNET (FR) and having completed the qualifications for the 2023 Bol d'Or Motos in the hands of drivers Joe Akroyd (GB) – Gabriel PONS (FR) – Ludovic Rizza (FR) – Julien BONNET (FR).
Exceptional motorcycle unique in the world, completely revised and ready to take to the track.
This motorcycle is not approved for the road. This competition motorcycle is in very good condition and is the result of very high technology and quality artisanal design and production.

The METISS History took its origins at Le Mans in 2004 during the French Moto Grand Prix, where the meeting between Emmanuel CHERON (Team Manager / driver) and Jean-Bertrand Bruneau (Designer of the T.S.S., JBB) took place.
A collaboration will be born between the small motorcycle racing team located a few kilometers from Le Mans (Vibraye) and Jean-Bertrand Bruneau, which will last until the latter's sudden disappearance at the end of 2020.
Thus, although entirely voluntary, the small team entered the restricted world of small manufacturers and developers of their own MetisS® brand Endurance motorcycle prototype, this among the officials of the EWC World Championship. Indeed, all the members of the Team are, from the design to the racing operation of the MetisS, only enthusiasts of motorcycle techniques and competition, devoting all their free time to it.
The METISS team is a small structure with association status governed by the law of July 1, 1901 and the decree of August 16, 1901. Since 2019 the structure has been recognized as an french Organization of General Interest (OIG).
The association acronym M.E.T.I.S.S. (Moto Experimental Team Innovation Sport) aims to be a group of enthusiasts specialized in their art and excelling through their know-how for the benefit of the team and its efficiency.
The METISS team is the competition branch of the R&D department of T.S.S technology (Triangular Steering system).
A will and a desire to design a motorcycle which is intended to be the fruit of reflections based on the knowledge of physics applied to 2 motorized wheels.
The METISS soul is that of a manufacturer who is not satisfied with the solutions of yesteryear and seeks innovative solutions based on the kinematics of a motorized 2-wheeler.
From Concept JBB, the T.S.S. front axle. (Triangular Steering System) is a French technology which reinvents the geometry of a motorcycle to counteract the harmful effects of physical laws on its balance and dynamics. This technology can do without a frame by an engine fully supporting the entire cycle part.
The principle of the front axle T.S.S. is derived from a half-train of automobile suspension with superimposed triangles in which the plane of the wheel would have been rotated by 90°, dissociating the direction of the suspension and where the lower triangle can be opened to remove the wheel. The particularity of this front axle is the anchoring of the lower triangle on a ball joint placed at the heart of the wheel hub. This makes it possible to construct real triangles, symmetrical and of small section taking into account the ideal distribution of forces.
This technology opened up to a second system, the T.S.S. 2 where the hub carrier becomes a rigid fork allowing a double conventional braking system.
The front wheel receives a new hub allowing the wheel/discs/calipers assembly to be removed together in record time.
